The new BiPAC 8800NL R2 is the replacement model for the best-selling BiPAC 8800NL. With the same spec to the 8800NL under the hood, the new model has an improved casing that allows you to lie the router flat, or use the dedicated separate stand for upright positioning.

The 8800NL R2 is an all-in-one high performance VDSL2/ADSL2+ broadband modem router with high-speed 802.11n wireless technology and detachable antennas. It supports all UK networks regardless of connection type, working with ADSL2+, VDSL2 (FTTC), Fibre and Cable technology making it an ideal device for customers with BT Infinity, Sky Fibre, TalkTalk, Virgin Media, Plusnet etc. Users can enjoy ADSL2+ and VDSL2 services and broadband multimedia applications such as interactive gaming, video streaming and real-time audio much easier and faster than ever before with the renowned Broadcom chipset.

The 8800NL R2 also supports an SNR adjustment feature for optimum performance on ADSL connections, offering greater speed and stability, especially important on longer lines, and also vectoring on VDSL lines. It can also be used in ADSL or VDSL modem mode only (PPPoA half-bridge mode or PPPoE bridge mode) for use in front of a dedicated firewall or existing wireless device. It’s integrated with a 4-port 10/100Mbps switch and a 1-port Gigabit switch which can be configured as an EWAN port.

An 802.11n wireless AP, enabling users to connect to multiple computers or devices easily, and multiple SSIDs and parental control Time Scheduling functionality allows for flexible management of wireless internet access for guests and kids through the web interface. There is also a hardware wireless on/off switch.

In addition the BiPAC 8800NL R2 supports a multi-functional USB 2.0 port. You can share FTP, NAS, DLNA media server and files with your family throughout your home network.
